General Information
Accessibility & Disabled Access

The Concourse buildings are mainly single story and all of the educational and recreational amenities, plus many of the bedrooms, are located on the ground floor. This means that the buildings are well-suited to wheelchair users, who are able to move around easily through the carpeted corridors. However, it is sometimes necessary to negotiate a single step, in which case ramps are provided, where practicable.

It should be noted that Earnley Place, which is a listed building, is not suitable for wheelchair users.

As mentioned, many of the Concourse bedrooms are on the ground floor and therefore they can be accessed by people with disabilities. In addition, there is one bedroom which is specifically designed for a wheelchair user, with easily accessible fittings and as specially adapted bathroom.
