Specialist Facilities

In addition to the standard training and conference facilities, Earnley has a number of specialised work spaces that are available (sometimes at additional cost) to trainers and group organisers.
Craft Workshop
Our workshop is a large work space with excellent natural light, designed for woodworking and other crafts. There are eight double-benches, each fitted with carpentry vices and serviced by overhead power outlets. A standard range of woodworking tools is provided plus specialist equipment for specific crafts. Some power machinery is also available for use by qualified operators. Additional work space is available along the side benches and a number of large sinks are also fitted. |

I.T. Suite
This comprises two dedicated computer rooms, one of which is available to delegates on a regular basis for individual project work and access to the Internet. The other is a larger room designed for training; it is equipped with 11 PC's with LCD projection facilities for the tutor. All PC's are linked to the Internet and have individual e-mail addresses; Windows and Office applications are installed throughout. |
Art Studios
There are two purpose-designed art studios, each of which will accommodate up to 20 students. Both rooms have an excellent level of natural lighting, as well as daylight-balanced fluorescent lighting. Each is furnished with tables, chairs and stools as well as various types of easel and other equipment.
Although Earnley uses the studios for an extensive programme of painting courses, these facilities are also available for hire by private groups and art societies.
